THE ALLEN DIGITAL ORGAN Here is the overview on this organ.  It was custom voiced and integrated with the existing pipe sections on the old organ.  The pipe work was salvaged as best possible to match to and from the digital voices.  However the total pipe ranks are approximately 9.  The digital ranks exceed 90.  The proper designation of this organ is a Digital/Pipe combination organ. Keeping in mind honesty in advertising, one must refer to it as what it is...a digital/pipe combination organ. The church tends to call it "The Pipe Organ" within various other descriptions.  The old pipe work is very much 1920's and the chests were rewired because I know that the old cotton wiring can not be interfaced with modern materials and still pass electrical codes.  Just another one of many oversights that I took responsibility for.
