Sting operations are fraught with ethical concerns over whether they constitute entrapment. Law-enforcement may
have to be careful not to provoke the commission of a crime by someone who would not normally be inclined to do
so. Additionally, in the process of such operations, the police often engage in the same so-called crimes, often
victimless, such as buying or selling contraband, soliciting prostitutes, etc. In common law jurisdictions, the
defendant may invoke the defense of entrapment.

In this case a sting could be considered as the construction of a set of circumstances, conversations, plans and
nefarious behind the scenes maneuvering which in other circumstances would be viewed as not ethical.

In this case this would set up certain behaviours and actions that would subvert or otherwise cause the target
(the Organist) to either make an issue or to leave the job.

It is my expert opinion that this was done to some degree and is based on the responses I received when I queried
several persons about their involvement.  One did not respond in any way thus the probability was that she was
involved to some degree in the process.  It is a fact the she was taking some responsibilities that were in the domain
of the organist under the cover of "finding musicians at a lower cost".
NOTE:  The reason for "lower cost" musicians is because the music budget has little money.  This is because there
are no revenue streams to count on as before.  By the way, this is the organist's duty to hire musicians, not some
person that thinks they can do better.  Look at the record of 15 years...top notch musicians hired.  No compromise.

The other email response was a canned answer designed to look and sound good...but with no real communications
about the questions I asked.  Does he think that I really fall for that?  (Smile!)

In addition, since the organist is part of the Worship Committee, I am usually told about meetings.
I was not informed of meetings during December 09 forward, and therefore did not know when WC meetings were
being held.  I suspect that I was not told on purpose.
Again, if true, then what can one say about this Christian church?
